3rd Grade Teacher (25-26)
Certified teacher for the 25-26 school year.

Duties
Teaches District approved curriculum.
Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
Plans a program of study, employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules.
Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects to communicate these objectives to students.
Assists in diagnosing the learning disabilities of students, with the assistance of district specialists.
Evaluates academic and social growth of students, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports.
Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
Remains available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day, such as parent teacher conferences.
Performs all other duties reasonably related to position as may be assigned by Building Administrator or Superintendent
Qualifications
Hold an IL Professional Educator License (PEL) for elementary education as required by the State.

Junior High Math Teacher (25-26 School Year)
Duties:
Teach mathematics to students in grades 7-8, following the Illinois state curriculum standards.
Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging, innovative, and appropriate for the age and ability levels of students.
Use a variety of instructional strategies, tools, and resources to ensure all students can succeed.
Provide regular feedback to students and their families regarding progress.
Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and academic success.
Participate in school-wide activities and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with other faculty and staff to enhance student achievement and school culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
Valid Illinois teaching certification in Mathematics (grades 5-8) or the ability to obtain one.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a collaborative environment.

High School Science Teacher (Immediate Opening)

Duties:
Teach high school-level Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science courses.
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and promote hands-on learning.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and scientific inquiry.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Use a variety of instructional methods, including lab activities, demonstrations, and technology, to enhance student learning.
Collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid Illinois Teaching Certification in High School Science
Experience teaching high school science courses preferred, but new graduates with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working with high school students.
Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.

High School Paraprofessional
Location: Fisher Jr/Sr High School
Reports To: Principal
Job Summary:
The High School Paraprofessional supports teachers and students by providing instructional assistance, classroom management, and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. This role helps create a positive and productive learning environment while ensuring student success and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with classroom instruction, small group activities, and one-on-one student support.
Provide academic assistance to students, including special education students and those needing additional support.
Support student behavior management, implementing positive reinforcement and intervention strategies as needed.
Supervise students in various school settings, including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and during arrival/dismissal.
Assist with lesson preparation, instructional materials, and classroom organization.
Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teacher and support staff.
Provide support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans, following accommodations and modifications as directed.
Assist with administering assessments and tracking student performance.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and school-related matters.
Perform other duties as assigned by teachers or school administration.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification: One of the following:
Associate’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.
Completion of at least 60 semester hours of coursework from a regionally accredited institution.
High School Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro assessment.
High School Diploma or GED and the following scores on the ACT WorkKeys assessments:
Applied Mathematics/Applied Math: Score of 4 or higher.
Reading for Information/Workplace Documents: Score of 4 or higher
